Plot a new course

Morning - Morning - Morning.

It has been a very long time since I've added a blog entry. Life, as we know it, can catch us by the tail and pull us along for a heck of a ride. The last 3-4 years have been eventful for me. Graduating from college, moving to a new city, starting a new job, meeting a new girl...I could go on but you get the idea - major changes, but the question I am asking myself is;

"Am I changing or is the world around me changing?"

It's a deep question. The truth is, in my opinion, there is no right answer. You change. The world changes. Everything changes. Something everyday could potentially change you and put you on a new course.

I read a book a few weeks ago. Read it twice actually. For those how know me - that is surprising to hear because I've never been a huge reader. The book is called "The Miracle Morning" by Hal Elrod. That book is who you can thank for reading this today...That book has helped me to plot a new course. A course to reignite my personal development.

Over the next few weeks I will be embarking on uncharted waters. Becoming a morning person. It actually has me excited because I've always wanted to be a morning person but never could find the motivation until reading that book, twice...

That's all for now, time for work. Make it a great day...it's on you!

Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose

I woke up the other day and realized I do things so much better when I write them down. Whether it be making a to-do list, writing monthly goals, or just doodling on a napkin. For me, things always turn out positive when I document them thoroughly.

This blog, impact365, is my attempt to stay on-track with my life goals and aspirations.

Currently I'm training for a half-ironman, which takes place this September. It's a 1.2 mile swim, 58 mile bike, 13.1 mile run. My long-term goal is to compete in a full-ironman someday....double all those numbers.

Anyway, I've got to get some rest. I'll see ya when I see ya!
